Program

FEI (an IHG Academy) and Ivy Tech Community College have joined forces to provide students an opportunity to gain essential, job-ready skills in the hotel industry through a Business Administration technical certificate.

Students will learn about business, management and hospitality topics in the classroom and apply their studies to real world situations during their internship in an IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) Hotel.

STUDENTS WILL…

• Learn in the classroom around business, management and hospitality topics
• *Gain valuable experience in the workplace with hands-on customer service and management during their internship inside an operating IHG hotel.
• Spend less time and money than traditional hotel management degree programs
• Advance quicker in the worldwide, no-border industry
• Improve chances of finding a job in the hotel sector and in many cases, secure a job in an IHG hotel.

UPON INTERNSHIP COMPLETION…

• Students will receive an IHG Academy Certificate of Completion
• Receive a performance feedback and a recruitment discussion
• FEI will work with graduates of the program for potential job placement
