• At Auburn we are centrally located to many day trip attractions. Beginning in the heart of Auburn we have The ACD Museum. Auburn is best known for being the home of the Auburn-Cord Duesenberg Autos. In addition to the museum the downtown area offers many unusual shops with a wide variety of specialty items as well as crafts and gifts that are one of a kind. The museum here in town has 3 floors of beautiful displays and guided or self-guided tours are available. One other local attraction to the Auburn area is the KRUSE Auction Park; home of the world’s largest Classic Car Auction. The auction, as well as other events, are regularly scheduled at the park. At our motel you are approximately 5 miles away. 20 miles south you can also find The Lincoln Museum, and The Allen County Library. The library is best known for some of the best Genealogy research resources in the country. If East is the direction you would like to travel for a day, Sauder Village is approximately 50 miles from us. The Village depicts daily from April through October life as it was in North West Ohio in the late 1800's. Everything from glass blowing, blacksmithing, quilting, and more is available to learn about at your leisure. Admission is reasonable and the complex includes The Barn Restaurant and Bakery is open year round. North of Auburn 25 miles is Pokagon State Park which offers a variety of activities year round. Also, on the North side just 30 minutes away is the Fremont Outlet Center Mall. And to the west, approximately 50 miles is Shipshewana, a beautiful Amish Heritage town offering over 40 shops and restaurants as well as (in season) the famous Flea Market.
